Chris and his team were scheduled and confirmed to help my husband and I move. Morning of, they were no where to be seen. I called Chris and he had no recollection of scheduling with me. I sent him a screenshot of our prior text conversation where he had said, “excellent, see you Wednesday”. Chris apologized and took responsibility, however our move was still ruined. We had a uhaul rented and that money was wasted as we couldn’t move that day. So Chris and his team ruined our meticulously planned move day (esp with the babysitter lined up), wasted our money, and wasted our time. I would never recommend Astorga and Sons.”

Just finished a move with them across town and they were fast, efficient, and professional yet they treated us like we were already family. I recommend Astorga & Sons for moving services. They were available to assist on less than one weeks' notice. They arrived at the moving location 15 minutes early and immediately got to work. While they were careful with our belongings, they were also very quick - walking quickly, breathing hard. They really worked hard and the job took a few hours less than expected and, as a result, cost less than expected. The movers were also very courteous and followed our requests for the order of loading and unloading. Overall, a great move and a well deserved five (5) star rating.”

We used them to load a Uhaul truck for a cross country move. We found them through Uhaul and paid by the hour. They were slow. Took several hours longer than anticipated which cost us more money. Fine. We understand that it takes a long time to load and in our case they ran out of room and we had to leave things behind. Also fine. The basis for the one star rating is the condition of our possessions when we unloaded. The leather furniture was torn and scuffed. The washer and dryer knobs were broken off and the machines themselves were heavily scraped. On top were the leather chair and couch. Hmmm. Anyway, the knobs and other damage was cost prohibitive. We decided to purchase new ones. $1400. Ouch. The brand new refrigerator was scraped on both handles. It is also dented on one side in several places. I had touch up paint for the handles but it will never be the same. It is now a garage fridge. I had to purchase a new one. $1500. Ouch. The Ethan Allen kitchen table wasn't protected at all and therefore not only was the top scuffed, but a chunk is missing. What a shame. It was a nice table. Plus, scuff marks on other furniture, beds, buffet, etc., where they rubbed against something for 1,000 miles. Furniture stain will help alleviate some of this damage but that furniture will never be the same. Given that we were asked to purchase rope, plastic wrap, and rented 24 pads (which were not all used), I expected better. Not perfection but some amount of care. If you care about your possessions, find another mover that isn't slow and careless. I wish we would have. Update: This move took place on April 24, 2019 - a few days from this original post, not a year ago per the company's response.”

OK, we have had the opposite experience from the previous reviewer. We found them to be very studious car caring individuals that utilized professional equipment and padding to protect the house the doors the stairs as they moved the heavy articles out to the truck. We had pre-loaded a portion of it and I've done this many times yet they were better at it than me and I should've let them do the entire truck. They did a great job of carefully protecting all the items and piecing them together in a very tight load that is going to cross the country in the next day or so. Their rate for doing this very physical work seems quite reasonable and is a value for anybody moving that doesn't want to do all the heavy lifting. I would certain recommend them to friends and associates for moving.”

Yesterday was the 2nd time we use Astorga & Sons, to move my daughter in Fort Collins from one apartment to another. The first time it was the crew of Justin and Jimmy, and this time it was Kris and Joel. That showed to me that any crew that we get from them provides equal quality of service. Both times, they were extremely careful of our possessions, took the time necessary to get the job done, did not rush at the expense of protecting our stuff, but were also efficient to not waste any time to keep the fees down. They were very professional and easy to work with. From the use of their own equipment that they supplied, you could tell that they had done this many times before. They went out of their way to protect the floors and doors of the apartment that we were moving into. And they stayed to re-assemble the bed and attach the mirror to the dresser. Their rates were very competitive with other movers that I had looked into. I will be calling them the next time I or my my daughter needs to move again!”

Extremely pleased!! These guys are amazing! They showed up on time, and worked their butts off. I was moving a 2 bedroom condo in Aurora into a storage unit about 100 miles away. They wrapped all my furniture and made sure everything was secure for storage. The storage unit had to be packed like Tetris, but they got it done. They were very responsive before the move as we worked to coordinate times with them, with our changing closing times. We had a double close and they were willing to schedule us for two days and safely store our items overnight, which was very helpful. It was also scheduled to snow during the move and they were prepared and safely protected our items with extra wrapping. We had a few odds and ends that weren't easily pack and they had a plan for everything. On the second day for the unload they did a wonderful job helping us get everything in and were great at asking to confirm where we wanted everything as they moved everything in. In addition, they helped add felt pads to the bottom of our furniture and set everything up. We would highly recommend them to anyone and would use them again if we ever have a another move.”

They put pads and floor runners down first to ensure no damage to our home and worked nonstop.
