Hiring movers to complete our move into a new home was a fantastic decision and choosing Angelo Enterprises was an even better one. We had the pleasure of having Gilbert, Will, and Juan take care of all the heavy lifting and boy was there a lot of it! These are 3 of the most hard working individuals I have ever seen and they did an incredible job with the entire movie. They carried and loaded box after box, beds, dressers, and exercise equipment and still managed to whistle & sing while they worked. They were efficient and incredibly careful with our belongings on both ends of the move. They were personable and polite (particularly with our 5 year old son who was pretty in awe of their job). They made an incredibly daunting task significantly easier and less stressful for us. The quoted price was exactly what the final cost was and we were not held responsible for the time the crew was at lunch (which is not always the case with other companies). If I could give the guys 10 stars I would. I was their last move of the day. I had to adjust my time and everyone was so accommodating. They arrived and told me to sit and they would handle everything. And they did. I was left with a lot of items that were not making it to Utah. So I rented a storage space, but quickly realized there was no way for me to move the items. They made quick work of loading and unloading. Life Savers!: I had a last minute cancellation from some friends that were supposed to help me move. Literally the day for my big day. I put a request for places/quotes through the Home Advisor website and the only place that came up was Angelo's. So that was a little worrisome since I didn't have anyone else to choose from. But I am so glad they answered my quote. Whitney from Angelo's called me right away and assured me they could be there the next morning to help me. She explained everything they would do step by step, and how much per hour. She mentioned that the guys that would help were trustworthy and good with the process. This company was recommended by PODS. We were looking to have someone load our furniture and other heavy items for our move from CT to NC. I was aware that I would need to provide packing materials- blankets, wrap, tape- which I did. First crew came in- guys seemed nice enough. I was around but tried to stay out of the way. When they came back from lunch, I thought I smelled weed but really couldn’t definitively say that it was. They packed up the POD assuring me that everything was good to go. When I realized that I would need another POD I called and spoke with Taylor. I requested the same guys and was assured they would fulfill the request. At that point we were headed for NC- my brother and sister-in-law came and informed me that it was not the same crew. They sent a pic of a POD that had stuff just thrown in. I called and spoke with Taylor- she said she would check in to it and apparently forgot to get in touch with me- even though I was a “valued customer”. We finally moved into our home 3 1/2 weeks ago and had the PODS delivered. Several pieces of my solid oak bedroom set have been scratched and gouged, a heavy drawer pull has been bent, my living room coffee table is scraped up, and the corner of the triple dresser in my 2nd bedroom is scraped and gouged. I called Taylor immediately to file a complaint and since they contracted out the movers, she would need to investigate because she wanted to get to the bottom of it. I called a week later and got the same response. I called this past Wednesday (12/17), spoke with Taylor and she immediately passed me over to Ed. Ed told me I was calling late and he didn’t think there was anything they could do. I explained that my stuff had been in storage and this was the first I had seen. He was quite rude saying there was probably nothing that could be done. He told me to send pics - which I did and I am waiting. So much for the investigation. My brother, a 20 year law enforcement officer, investigated and solved crimes quicker. I am doubtful that my complaint will be resolved to my satisfaction- but if this helps one person then there’s that.”
