We are Washington state’s ONLY Black minority-owned moving company. Starting my business in 1998 changed my life. It has been a dream come true and I feel it’s my responsibility to give back to the community that has given so much to me. I actively support many great local causes, including Habitat for Humanity and Girlfriends Run For a Cure. Moving is more than my business, it’s my purpose. Today, after completing thousands of moves, my team has grown to include some really incredible people. The people you see here are trained and experienced movers. They’re the ones who will help with your move — we never hire day laborers.

It all started with the opening communication. They answered the phone versus me leaving a voicemail. Scheduling an appointment to visually see what needed to be moved was easy. Peter was courteous upon arrival and professional throughout. On moving day, the team arrived, introduced everyone so I knew who they all were. We discussed a quick review on everything that needed to be moved, and what didn't, and then everyone got to work. No slack on time, no unwarranted coffee breaks, and no lack of effort - the crew just got on with the job and we were out ahead of schedule. Unloading was a similar experience. We ran through the home to familiarize the crew on what was where, and kept open communications on where things go as they came off the truck. Even better - they knew how to tackle corners and low ceilings so we avoided nicks and dings in the new home. All in all, I was so pleased on the service level from ANC movers, that i know I will be passing their information on to others. This was the simplest move I have ever had, and a lot of that had to do with the help of ANC.”

They were able to move us in one truck, and in one day - other movers needed two days and two trucks. It was also very reasonable, with minimal damage. Peter was very nice and easy going, and matched his picture on the site, but the other four gentlemen didn’t match any of the photos (one of them might have... maybe it has been a while since the photos were taken). My husband asked if they were going to shrink wrap the furniture, and one man said that they didn’t have any (even though the woman on the phone said it was included with our bid), then later I saw another worker shrink wrapping a dresser before moving it, so there was a consistency issue. Some workers wrapped furniture before moving, and others didn’t. We got a few scuffs on dressers, a gash in the door of our new freezer, and a broken handle on our carpet cleaner. With any moving company, you expect some damage, but it might have been avoided if items were wrapped before moving. They did do a great job, in little time, and they had the best price, by far. If there are certain items that are important to you, just make sure to ask about wrapping them - or wrap yourself, if you’d like to save time.”

They definitely have a 'no problem' attitude and nothing was too big (or small) to handle. We had a few very heavy pieces that were also bulky and unruly. Brian and Shane moved these items into our home as if they were made of "Styrofoam." We couldn't believe how quickly they got our furniture into our home and placed it perfectly. They miss quoted me and added extra items to my moving list which caused them to have three guys on my move instead of the two I was quoted which made my original estimate go up $250. I had originally picked this place for the price but they turned out to be more expensive than ANY of the others that I had looked into. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. And I urge anyone looking for honest movers to look elsewhere. I brought the issue to their attention and these people are unwilling to stand by the original quote given on the phone.
