DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I needed a last minute move from my old apartment to a new apartment in the same complex (I can see my old apartment from my balcony). I was quoted for two hours with two men but ended up paying for four hours with three men. It took longer with the third person than it did with two, my husband had to help the movers with some of our items. They did not properly wrap our very expensive television, use a dolly for the boxes, and took multiple breaks (bummed my husband's cigarettes, drank our bottled water, and used our bathroom for thirty minutes at a time). Not only was this an issue, but each of the workers told us their life stories. I should not know that you were in state penitentiary for fraud, or that your wife is a massage therapist that does house calls and you insisted that we write down her number. Once the movers brought over 7 pieces of furniture to our new apartment, they weren't careful enough to make sure they wouldn't scuff our walls, there are chips on the wall and ceiling that weren't there when we opened the door. When we called to ask if we can at least get an hour back, we were met with hostility and racist slave analogies. What makes all of this worse is the following day, our neighbors moved in twice the amount of furniture that we have and it took the moving company they used 45 minutes! Suffice it to say, in total we payed $635 to move half a block away. We will NEVER use this company again, and make sure that everyone we know won't use you guys either!”

All the King's Men's lack of communication leads to outrageous costs. We hired All the King's Men to move and dispose of a large number of items in a short period of time. All the King's Men took an excessive amount of time to dispose of the items, far more than what was required. We were also charged a large disposal fee. Neither the excessive time required to dispose of the items nor the disposal fee were discussed beforehand. When we contacted All the King's Men regarding these costs, they refused to discount or refund their fees or explain why the disposal fee was required, and eventually, they cut off all communication.”

My father-in-law hired these guys to move my brother-in-law's belongings out of his apartment and into an outrageously expensive - $250/month - storage unit, quite a small one mind you. After estimating the job at around $700 and obtaining a credit card authorization for the amount, they charged him nearly $1,200. That was a few weeks ago. Today, we had them transfer everything to a smaller storage unit and a different location just a few miles away. They charged over $1,100 this time, a move that was much easier - one storage unit to another instead of emptying a disorganized apartment. It seems that these "movers" are in the business of taking advantage of 86-year old men and unapologetic about it. I wouldn't recommend these guys in the worst emergency move.”

We hired ATKM to move my 76 year old mom out of her 3 bedroom townhouse on 7/15. Karlos and his crew of 2 other men showed up on time, ready to work! They were very thorough inspecting and pointing out any defects on all the furniture. There were several fragile antique items that they asked if we preferred to take in our cars ourselves, still wrapping and protecting these valuable items, which I really appreciated. They never stopped working on one of the hottest humid days of the summer. (Suggestion: We had a case of water for them and had a few snacks that we offered them as they kept going), super nice guys, positive, friendly and worked very hard! I've never hired movers and was nervous because of the stories you read and hear about, but based on our experience, I would hire them again and recommend.”
