DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are a total scam! Jim the salesman/owner seems nice but don't trust him. He will low ball the price and estimate of weight. He quoted me a "will not excede price" of 1,847.36. On the load date the truck showed up on time but was full and we were told we would need to split our belongings into two trucks. That should have been a warning sign alone. So the first truck shows up, unloads, gets paid. The second truck delivery was delayed one week, manageable. At least we can unpack our belongings or a few anyway, right?? WRONG! its all broken! Second delivery changes again! Now we are told we have to pay another1,400 to get the rest of our stuff bc they split it into two shipments and mileage and gas still need to be paid. What ever happened to the 1,847.36 the price wasn't supposed to excede? its bullshit! they want 3,100 to complete the delivery. This has been going on one month already. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!’”

The people from All Around were nice. The quote went well. Even the local end of the long distance move was good. Then they handed off the move to National Van Lines. From there, the communication all but stopped. They never did contact me with a date for the move. As the deadline window approached I had to call them to find out when the stuff would be delivered. Of course, they missed the deadline. I slept on the floor for over a week. While I tried to remain calm and collected during the numerous phone calls, there staff was unconcerned at best and often rude and inconsiderate. In talking to the delivery driver, missed deadlines and rude staff were the norm, not the exception, for NVL. When the shipment was delayed, they offered remediation which didn't being to cover the costs of a move to a big city. They broke a contract, and if I had time or energy, I would have taken them to court. Then once the furniture arrived, several pieces were damaged including a work of art that cannot be replaced. Their recovery was minimal and unsatisfactory. More importantly, their communication throughout that process was as unsatisfactory as was with the move. In short, All Around _may_ be fine for a local move. Avoid National Van Lines like the plague.”

During the sales process, they were very responsive. However, once I confirmed that I would be hiring them, I spent two weeks going back and forth with them (Jim, Pam) for details and while they were nice when I spoke with them, they weren't very responsive between those times. The other main issue I had with the company was the binding contract situation. I was informed, before I signed a contract, that if I didn't use the shuttle in the contract that I would be refunded after a two week period (the time it takes accounting to review and process the bill). However, after three weeks and contacting them, they informed me that I would not be receiving the money back. If I had known this I would likely have hired another company, as I had an alternative lined up with great reviews and around the same price.”

In my opinion, this company was outstanding in managing our move. When they first gave us a quote, it included them packing up all our belongings. As time progressed, we were able to pack up and move some of our belongings ourselves, and I let the company know how we were progressing. They stayed in touch and were willing to accommodate us as we reduced their load and our price. We still left the hanging clothes and lamps, for them to pack, as well as all the furniture. They came in the day before the planned move to do their packing, which they did very efficiently, carefully packing everything and labelling the boxes,. The next day they packed up their trucks and unpacked us at our new home, 50 miles away, despite the fact that the weather got worse and worse as the day progressed. At 7:30 pm, they informed me that they thought it was prudent not to try to move our piano into the house in the dark, up icy steps, and of course I agreed. They returned two days later and safely unloaded and set up our piano, without a scratch on it. It still sounds great even though I haven't had it tuned in the new house. The movers were very nice guys. Chris, the team leader, Cheese, Ray, Nick and the other fellows were considerate and acted professionally. I enjoyed seeing them do their job competently and I would recommend this company without reservation.”

Just had a small local move with this company. I would not use them again or recommend them. They moved my Mom from a senior living 700 sq ft apartment with 7 cabinets and one drawer in the kitchenette. They packed the kitchen up and forgot to pack the only drawer in the kitchen (which contained the silverware tray). How do you miss the only drawer in a kitchen that small? Not very detailed workers. The move took longer than it should have, granted it was an apartment move with an elevator but if one of the loads was carrying a lamp shade and waste basket, imagine how long the move would take? There were literally 10 furniture items, a couch, China cabinet, storage bench, a dresser with mirror, two night stands, and 4 dining chairs. The rest of the items were clothing and linen items and they still left things behind. So if you're wanting detailed, thorough, efficient movers, this will not be the company for you. The responsibility to make sure everything is moved is shared between the owner and the moving company. If items were left behind in an apartment that small, I would really be concerned for a house move. It also may depend on the crew you get but moving is so stressful that worrying about having a dependable crew should not be an issue to face. The two positive things I can say is that they take credit cards and most of the items they packed arrived unbroken.”

I initially started my search for moving companies and received multiple moving companies and decided to go with them because the lady told me that with a 3 person crew she thought with the items we told her would be involved with the move she estimated 4-5 hours. The moving was ok for the most part, but it strictly says that anything that is taken apart will be put back together. The workers took apart our treadmill and of course didn't reassemble it upon leaving. I contacted the company to ask why they wouldn't have put the treadmill back and she let me know that she would contact them and have them call me because they were in the area doing another move the following day. I never received a call and get home to find out they came back to only drop off the parts needed to assemble the treadmill. I call the next day to let them know to have the manager tell me she will contact the crew and return my call in minutes, 6 hours later still no call! So I call them back and get another lady on the phone who I explain the whole situation to and she proceeds to tell me that "it sounds like we have done everything we can to take care of the situation" I was dumbfounded how she could say this with my treadmill still not assembled. She goes on to tell me that she will get with a manager and give me a call back today and of course still waiting for that call. The beginning of the process they made it seem like I was a very important person but as soon as they get their money i'm put on the back burner. I would never recommend this company to anybody nor will I ever contact them again for any future moves. Pay the extra money and go with a more reputable and dedicated customer service company!”

They did such an amazing job, and were so cost effective, I hired them for 2 more subsequent moves the following month. Clare in the office is wonderful to work with and always has a cheerful voice to help you! All our movers were great, too. Chris and Renaldo in particular were absolutely the best. Everyone took care of my possessions, and packed everything expertly into storage. Beyond that, my first move was very stressful and Chris and Renaldo each took time to offer kind words to me. When they both arrived for my second and third moves, I was completely relaxed because I knew what great guys they are. Also, I was weary of the hourly pay rate because it seems like there's no incentive to move quickly... This was NOT the case with this company! The office staff was very helpful in getting us set up. The day arrived for our move and the gentlemen who came were extremely professional and efficient!
