Our move with Ability Moving was a terrific experience! We relocated my brother from a Dallas senior living facility to rural East Texas and Ability showed up the next day, without us present, to load the contents of his 3rd floor, two bedroom apartment which required a lengthy walk down a hall and the navigation of a small elevator. Tough job. Their fee was under my stated budget, the general manager, Dion, was cheerful, helpful and responsive. The sales manager, Scott, who was hands-on, took a great deal of care in the move. Furniture was padded and wrapped, items that I failed to pack were treated with care and nothing was damaged. They were fast, careful and efficient and I could see that they take great pride in their work. I can recommend Ability Moving without reservation and will certainly call on them again. Really dissatisfied with the service It started out to be a pretty good experience. They were efficient and moved my things very well. They started the clock before they came to my house and they told me that they were on the clock for the amount of time it took them to get back to Anchorage from Wasilla. They could have stopped for lunch. If I didn't put my foot down, I would have ended up paying $300 for a two-hour job. That's a bit ridiculous.

The experience was very wonderful They were very professional. They were very courteous. The head gentleman come out with two of his employees. They made sure to either - one put booties on and the other took his shoes off -that was going to be in here to assemble the loveseat. Like I said, they were very courteous, they were every careful on what they did. They were just - the experience was very wonderful. That's the only way I can explain it.

I contracted Ability to pack and ship my household items and furniture plus my truck from Anchorage Alaska to Palm Desert California. They called me the morning they were suppose to arrive and said one of their drivers called in sick and could not make it until the next day. I told them that was unaccepible as I had to be out of my house that day. They called back and said they found another driver and would be there by 3pm. They didn't show up until almost 5pm. They were very disorganized and damaged at least 2 pieces of furniture. Not shire how my other goods will be when I receive them. I drove my truck to their location on a Wednesday afternoon in anticipation of it shipping within a couple of days. They held my truck at their location for 13 days! I called the following Monday to inquire if it shipped and was told yes but they were not sure if it shipped that Friday or Sunday. I called again the next Monday and they still had the truck. I had to threaten them with recourse to get them to take it to the shipper. I was given a booking number and shipper name that afternoon. They told me when they took the truck to the shipper they ran out of gas. I left the truck with a 1/4 tank of gas and the shipper is less than five miles away! I'm still not going to get my truck for another week and a half! Still don't know when my household and furniture will ship!

HORRIBLE....I had a contract with them to move my items from North Pole, AK (with their Anchorage office) to Ohio. I paid them a $7000 on 31 Oct as a deposit, they picked my stuff up 20 November 17 with a 6-week delivery time and that is the last I seen my stuff until 14 May 18. I sent emails on a regular basis to see what was going on and they stated they couldn't find crates to ship my stuff and to be patient. All of the sudden, I stopped getting emails and their phone was disconnected in the Anchorage office and no one in Texas answers the damn phone. I had a reporter call me in April stating they received a call from a different company stating they have my stuff however, Ability Moving and Storage didn't pay them so I owed them $800 to release my stuff and another $1200 to ship to Ohio. Once I received my stuff, 1/2 of it is missing and some furniture destroyed beyond repair...like a forklift fork went thru my dresser side. My stuff wasn't crated, only thrown on pallets and shrink wrapped. DO NOT USE....I'm still fighting to get my deposit back. I did file a complaint with the BBB
