worst moving company on earth. broke most of my valuables. wont pay me for the damage. small claims court here we come!

★★★★★
Saul and Pablo just moved me from Auburn to Tacoma on 3/22/21. Both men were curteous, professional and efficient. They took extra special care of my belongings and were the key elements of my successful and smooth move! This is the 3rd time I have used A2B for moving and I recommend them highly to anyone who will listen.

★★★★★
I have used this company three times in the past year, very professional, easy to work with. Tim Allen and crew did a fantastic job and took care of our things. Highly recommend! Reasonable prices as well.

★☆☆☆☆
The crew who came out to do the actual move were very, very good. This was Brandon, Demarius(spelling?), and John. We have no complaints with them whatsoever. The reason for the negative rating is based on the initial estimate done by Ryan Peltier. We have moved a number of times and do understand what a non-binding estimate is, however the estimate Ryan gave my husband was 4 times lower than the actual cost. The estimate was so far from reality it was ridiculous. The crew was surprised when they arrived at the home and saw that the estimated time and effort had been greatly underestimated. This is such an unethical business practice in many ways and does a huge disservice to both your customers and your crew. We will never use your services again and would never recommend you to anyone else based on this unethical practice that your company engages in.

A2B Moving & Storage, LLC was a life-saver! My original company fell through on my contract and I started calling other moving companies, and A2B Moving & Storage was highly recommended. On 8/12/21, the dynamic team of Tim Allen, Carlos, and Abraham moved our family's belongings from storage to their warehouse in preparation to transport it to the North Dallas, TX area where we now reside. The dynamic team worked with my friend to retrieve our items from storage in Renton, and since then she consistently speaks to their friendliness, professionalism, and sincere care about my situation and family's belongings. Quality customer service is hard to find! As a Registered Nurse, working in this pandemic has been difficult and stressful. My family and I had been planning for our July 2021 move to Texas for 2 years and COVID put a pause on it. When the time came, the last thing I expected was for my moving company to abandon us. But God knows what you need despite the wrongful doings of man. Tim Allen, Carlos, Abraham, and can't forget the lovely Samantha are our angels. THANK YOU! Thank you for your empathy, thank you for your service, and simply thank you for caring! Blessings and Love, Delores Mack and the Mack Family

★★★★★
Excellent above and beyond service! Saul and his team unloaded our interstate load with efficiency and circled back for any additional items we may need help with. Another team packed up the house a day ago and was also amazing. Company easy to work with, came in under bid and are helping me with another partial move to Tacoma in another week. Came out to my house to give accurate and detailed bid with quick fit into their calendar. Highly recommended by my real estate agent as her other clients had good results as well. I highly recommend A2B for quick, efficient, reasonable price option for you.

★★★★★
Tim and his 'A- team' showed up on time and had our business all loaded up in no time!!! We were so far behind schedule, after renting a truck from Budget, that was not road worthy (they said we should call roadside assistance before we left) we made the decision to hire out the move. I had contacted A2B in October thinking we would be moving in November.... but we decided to do it ourselves (Wa to Fl) called them back Monday, December 7th with a SOS - and they came to the rescue!!! Had the crew pick up that Friday! We couldn't be happier! They created a fun atmosphere and were all very pleasant and professional! Tim could tell how stressed we were and was reassuring that his job was to deal with the stress so we didn't have to. Highly recommended!

Bought a grand piano from a private party. They did a great job at the home of the seller and she was pleased with their professionalism and COVID protocols. I was also very pleased with the care they took with the instrument and my home. Would definitely hire them again.

We requested an internal move for a senior resident. We asked for the estimate and they said $400 initially. I explained it would be less than a hours time and they said this was the minimum charge. But indicated I could talk to the owner and see if we could get the rate reduced. Mind you, we have given them business for years at Farrington Court moving residents in and out. I called the owner to get a more reasonable rate for 45 minutes worth of a move and she did not return my call. These are senior residents on a fixed income. I am giving two stars for the guys who did the move. They called the morning of the move and tried to cancel, reschedule the move and we said no. So they changed the time, they were able to go to Mercer Island that morning and swing by Kent before returning to Auburn that evening. We were gracious enough to change our time and they did a good job.

Travis and Dakari were awesome! They were timely, efficient, careful and very helpful!! No complaints at all. The cost was exceptional. We will definitely recommend and use this company in the future. Thank you.

★★★★★
We hired these guys in an almost last minute situation when we had some other movers cancel at the last minute. Ryan and his team showed up and they were nothing short of amazing. They RAN up and down the stairs to grab boxes, were very friendly and so quick! The mess of the move didn't phase them. I admit that we were a bit unorganized but they took it step by step and moved what they could while we were still boxing. They were incredibly courteous and still made it under the original quote. I will use these guys every time I move and will sing their praises to everyone! Thank you!!!!!!

I used a moving company for the first time today. I had always been a little nervous about other people handling my stuff. A2B sent Mike and Chauncy to help me move and I was blown away. I have a lot going on in my life right now and this move had me very stressed out. It could not have been better. They showed up on time and beat their estimated time. I almost felt like I was robbing them with how quick it went. These guys are pros and I will use them next time I move. I highly recommend A2B and request Mike and Chauncy! Also should mention Rose in the office who helped coordinate everything. They were awesome and really took a weight off of my back.

I've honestly never used a moving company before so I have nobody to compare them to. I needed someone to help me transport a fridge I purchased from Costco. Costco only does delivery for online purchases and there was no way I could move a 300 plus lb fridge on my own. I called A2B the same day and they met me at Costco within the hour! That alone was impressive. It's nice that they are located in Kent (I was at the Tukwila Costco). The lady I spoke with on the phone was super helpful. The two gentlemen who met me were Jermaine and Howard. They were polite, professional and funny. Anyway, they literally rolled out the red carpet for me. I just wanted my fridge moved from A2B (get it? see what I did there?) but they put the red carpet over my wood floors to avoid scratching it up. They also wrapped the new fridge I purchased up very well before transporting. I would highly recommend them. I don't plan on ever moving, but if I do I will use these guys again and probably request the same gentlemen. They have a YELP deal going on right now. For the price I paid... it was so worth it! I wrote them a check, but they also take credit cards. Don't forget to tip! It's not required but it's a nice gesture. I tipped with cash. These guys work hard!! They were sweating bullets. I know it's their job, but I felt so bad!

We called A2B the day before our move after realizing we were way over our head with our move from one home to the other. They got an account of the items we had, got us a quote, and confirmed within the hour. The crew showed up between the designated time agreed upon and immediately got a walk through of everything moving to our new home and started right away. They had the proper supplies to ensure the carpets, hard woods, walls,!etc. were protected. I would recommend them to others looking for a stress free move. They also finished ahead of time and were super nice.

I'm updating this review to reflect the excellent customer service I received. The owner listened to my concerns and was courteous and professional in her explanations. The company provided a refund as a gesture of goodwill. I really appreciate how the owner took the time to listen to a customer's complaint and resolve the issue, rather than just brush it off. Initial contact: 5 stars. The woman I initially spoke with over the phone was polite and professional. We went over the amount of belongings we had, and she provided a quote via email. The move: 5 stars. The two individuals arrived on time. They were very efficient and worked quickly to load up the truck. They were respectful of our belongings. My husband and I both felt that they were efficient workers, and provided a tip of $60 at the conclusion of our move.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. IF YOU LIKE YOUR STUFF, DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY. I had a house of furniture that was bought brand new and never moved until I hired A2B Moving. Nearly every piece of furniture that I can see (some is in storage) has some level of damage - a scratch, nick, scuff, chip, etc. It is as if they only wrapped the furniture in stretch wrap and didn't bother to use moving blankets in the truck. They are very calculated about rushing to get your signature on the day of the move without explaining that they have pre-selected the minimal damage insurance option for you. Despite this, I filed a claim and submitted pictures of everything. After that, they don't respond to my phone calls or emails and try to drag the process out with ridiculous requests. They never paid the claim and simply decided to ignore it. I have procured a lawyer and will shut them down if I have to. BTW: Don't believe the "owner's" responses to the bad reviews. The actual owner is not involved in the business and the responses are outright lies. I should also mention that they ended up charging me 200% more than their bid. The bid process is a scam to get you locking in.

★★★★★
I have nothing but good things to say about these guys. They are awesome! I first hired them through a third party service to fill a moving pod I'd had delivered, and they were so fast, so hard working, so polite, that I made it a point to ask what the name of their company was. Long story short - the next time I needed more moving help I eliminated the middle man, contacted them directly, and ended up using their full service to load up my stuff, take it to their storage facility, inventory it, store it; and then do the same process in reverse when I needed it all packed up from their storage and delivered to my new location. And it all went seamlessly! From communication with their scheduler/dispatcher to the prompt arrival, efficiency, hard work, politeness and pure niceness and helpfulness of their moving crew, I was 100% happy with my move. I hope to never have to move again, because moving is hard, but if I do, hiring these folks would definitely be the way I'd go, and if I had to store stuff in between move-out and move-in again, I'd for sure use their full moving/storage service. It was a little pricier than some other options, but in this case I felt like I really did get what I paid for as far as efficiency and convenience. Highly recommend.

We used A2B Moving for a move about 65 miles away. We had them come give us an estimate as it was per pound due to the distance. Our house sale fell through and they kept us on the books, checked in with us on occasion as we found and closed on a new house. Customer service was amazing from my first email to the time the movers drove away. Ryan and Chauncey were awesome! They evaluated our stuff and came up with a game plan before starting to move anything and were very customer focused asking questions and communicating their plan with us all the while being very careful with our stuff. If something seemed fragile and packed in a way that they were worried may make it susceptible to damage they brought it to our attention. Both Ryan and Chauncey seemed to enjoy their job and worked very hard while keeping a positive, fun attitude. Laurene and Rose were extremely helpful. The estimate was only off by a few pounds which helped us keep in our budget. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anybody looking for quality movers.

We were able to book A2B Moving with a week's notice. The quoting team was helpful in explaining options their company has available. Ryan and his team were polite, clean and efficient.

SCARY AND DANGEROUS. I moved with this company a few years ago. They were late and unprofessional. A week later I got a text from one of the guys trying to hook up. He had got my number from the paperwork apparently and now had my address. NOT OK. They took my credit card at the time of the move, but their crew couldn't figure out how to make it work with their scanner. So they wrote down my credit card number (surprised that wasn't stolen too, I was pretty upset about it)... and a few days later they had charged the card 4 times and had tied up over $1000 of my money. Called, emailed, tried to sort it out... They couldn't figure it out but they reversed the charges and I mailed a check, which they cashed. Just got a call from a collection agency (again 4 years later!) saying I never paid! It can go on my credit report now, simply because this company can't keep records. STAY AWAY. EDIT: WOW! Love the company response! Maybe because the man knew where I lived and I didn't want him coming after me? I thought that would be obvious. Thanks for showing the community what your community service is like! Instead of apologizing for YOUR system not working (you NEVER did, not once), YOUR system overcharging me $1000, YOUR employees unprofessionalism, and YOUR incompetence at not having record of a check you cashed, you attack me. I need say no more. Edit 1 more time: So I sent the check, apparently A2B never cashed it. The last communication I have with them is an email saying I sent it and please let me know if they didn't receive it. Never heard ANYTHING in the last 4 years. Today I got to pay $80 to a collection agency for 'interest accrued on the account' because A2B sat on this for 4 years. What a wonderful company!!

Recently moved from Auburn to downtown Seattle. A2B was prompt and punctual. However, had a billing issue that management was not concerned with at all. Delivery guys gave me $50 off because of easy move and me helping them out so much. I did not ask for a discount but they gave it to me anyways. I gave them a hefty tip for my appreciation. Management insisted I owed $75 more or I would be sent to collections IMMEDIATELY. I would've gladly paid the extra $75 owed without a fuss if they were more understanding. I ended up just paying the $75 because I don't want the hassle. BUT It should not be the customer's fault if the employee gives the customer a discount without managements approval. I am a business owner myself and I would have just ate the cost and not charged the customer and talked to the employee about it. There's a million moving companies to choose from that are more efficient and strive for customer service. A2B is not one of them. They apparently have too many customers now and don't really care about getting new ones. Save yourself future trouble and use a different moving company.

My house purchase closed unexpectedly early on a Friday. A Friday that was a three weekend. How could I possibly get movers on such short notice without paying an outrageous premium... A2B Moving. That Friday they gave me a perfectly reasonable quote over the phone and said they could have three guys move me on Sunday. Sure enough Sunday morning the big truck rolled up and three very professional movers had me in my new place by the afternoon. They took great care of my things and I couldn't recommend A2B enough.

I recently used A2B Moving on two separate events in the last two months. The service was absolutely perfect. They were on time and the workers were dedicated to meet every need with a smile. They were more than ready to take extra steps far beyond the expected service. On a 1 to 10 rating, I would give them an 11. The next time I have any moving need, I would look no further than A2B Moving. Fantastic service!!!

I will definitely call A2B again when I need to move. We had three quotes to move our home from Auburn to Sammamish. The quote from A2B was reasonable and I chose to go with them based on their reviews being better than the other two companies. We have a LOT of stuff- we moved from a 4500 sqft house to a 4300 sqft house. The team arrived with five movers ready to go. About half way through the loading, they knew that two trucks werent going to do it. Without a delay, A2B sent over a 3rd smaller truck to finish off the remainder of the items. Ryan was a great team lead and made us feel very comfortable with A2B handling our items. For the drop off a week later, the team again arrived on time with five movers. Since the house is brand new, they took extra precautions by covering floors, railings, etc. We didnt find even one mark on a wall with all the stuff they moved in. Even with the need for the extra smaller truck, the total bill came in right to the estimate. We haven't found anything damaged, unless it was due to our own poor packing of boxes from rushing at the last minute (whoops!). I recommend calling A2B for a quote if you need to move.

Don't allow them to move your tv's. I specifically asked them the safety of moving the tv's. They said oh we have pads, they will be fine. When I got to New home,, my 40 inch BRAND NEW Samsung flat screen was cracked! When I called them about it, they said, you should have put it in a box. So they sent me a claim form to receive $0.60 per pound which is about $12 for a brand new tv worth $350!! It makes me sick as I had saved up for months to purchase it, I am on fixed income and cannot replace it. Moral of the story is move your tv's yourself. Laurens, I was never told about a "tv box". I did not even know they existed! Yes I got your claim form. I am not going to waste my time filling it out to receive $12.00.

Great moving experience! I mean, as far as moving goes :). Very nice woman came to the house after we called. Provided an estimate very soon after. Seemed very reasonable. Hourly estimate. 3 guys showed up this morning as scheduled. Ryan, Phil and Will. Did a quick walkthrough - got right to work! Truck was the perfect size. They took a short lunch break and went right back to it. Didn't nick a wall or anything! Helped me load my truck for a dump run! The best part? Finished early and saved me almost $400! Very impressive. Great attitudes. If you need a really good mover, call A2B!

Called A2B. Got the booking confirmed. Was told that I needed to provide the estimates by Wednesday/Thursday. Started adding the inventory item on Wednesday and got a call that they cancelled our confirmed booking. Really unprofessional company that can cancel on your move the last minute w/o any prior notice. Not reliable at all. Edit after the owner's comment: No part of my comment was "not correct". I was told that I had until Wednesday/latest Thursday to complete the inventory work. The semantics - "when the booking is confirmed" - is something that should have been explained to the customer in the 1st call. Trying to get business by not sharing information transparently leads to distrust. Hope you can be more clear when you communicate with potential customers.

I found A2B in Yelp. They helped me to move a baby grand piano. Josh responded in seconds. Price is reasonable. The team arrived on time. We were anxious at the beginning but, they did everything very carefully. I highly recommend.

OK, I've used them 3 times now and I have been very happy each time. As you can tell I have been a repeat customer! They do keep your previous records on file so they can record what they have moved for you. It was very convenient the next time I used their services and needed a quote. The first two times I have moved the move time was much faster than the minimum time of 3 hours. On both occasions the guys asked if they can move or put things together for me so I can get the most of my money. They're always cognizant of the labels on the boxes. If you do mark them as fragile, the guys will take heed of your belongings and treat them with care. They'll even lay protection down on the floors so they don't ruin or dirty it. I really love their attention to detail. I hope I don't have to move again but if I do, I definitely will use their services again! I'm so happy with their services that I'm constantly recommending them to family and friends. They do not disappoint when my friends have used their services as well.

So I was really surprised with the generosity of the owner of this company. I had a mixed up with my move date and they showed up at my house when I was expecting them. Cause of that they were gonna charge 200$ for there time. I was really upset that they didnt confirm before just showing up then trying to charge me. I talked to the owner, she was really nice and considerate told me she wouldn't charge me. This company has some really nice owners. Even though I haven't used this company I'm really impressed with there customer service.

Their movers were really a pleasure to work with. They tried to make the moving process as smooth as possible. Although they took more time than expected (I wish I could have got a more accurate quote) I could tell that they tried their best to save us as much time as possible. Would hire them again.

Another successful move with these guys & hopefully our last move haha! We finally found and moved into our forever home. The move was a breeze because of these guys. This was our 3rd time moving with them. So happy we called them again!!! Andrew & Drew...You guys are the best! Thank you for making our move go sooo smooth. So glad I used your company! Definitely will call you guys again when we move out of our place in near future. Thank you guys!!!

Not only did they drag out my claim a full year, but when I finally filed a BBB complaint they canceled my refund check for $100 of the $500 they wanted to pay for the damages they caused. Below is my complaint to the BBB and A2Bs response. I really wanted to like these guys but they could have cared less for my items they took no care in moving and for me as a customer. I'm a single working mom and didn't have a year to spend jumping through hoops for them to not make right on the property they destroyed. I have never experienced such poor business ethics or customer service. You will pay more then you think you are saving with these guys in damages and your time. I hired A2B movers to move my things. They advertised that they were fast, insured, experienced & careful. During the move the movers left scratches down guard rails and trim. At my new home they drug furnature directly across the new finish leaving deep scratches. They shattered my coffee table on the sidewalk beyond repair, they broke 3 drawers in my brand new dressors (2 beyond repair and walked over) and unreplacable by individual pieces(I emailed the manufaturer and theyve redone them so wont fit). other furniture was chipped and marked up. I asked them at one point if they could place something under or around some pieces I saw getting scratched up and they said sure but continued without anything. They had a full stack of untouched unfolded blankets in their truck and didn't use a single one of them. When I arrived home towards the end of the move as I had to go pick up my daughter, I noticed big black marks and marks out of the paint on a dressor and said oh no, and the guys commented I could just retouch it and it wasnt a big deal. They were grossly neglegent in their job because they used NO percautions in not causing damage to my things. They also were late and charded me for time before and after they had left. I called the office that day and sent them the requested photos and description of damages within 5 days. When 90 days came and went with no word from them(as they had told me it could take) I contacted them again and they said the proper paper wasnt filed and they needed me to do that they had originally said theyd take care of. I did this. Again 90 days came and went with no contact. I repeatedly emailed and called the company with no return resolution from the claims department. Finally the owner said shed get them to respond. A few weeks later I got a check for $108. but my Damages exceed $500. The owner now refuses to return or acknowledge me emails or phone calls. My move was Sep. 13, 2018 and it has taken me almost a year with no resolution

Got the date I requested for the move. Reminded of it several times, and then they called to give me a particular time - which was greatly appreciated. The movers were quick and efficient. Nothing was dropped. No furniture or walls marred. Plus they were really nice and personable. The team leader was just exceptional. Can't go wrong w/ them.

No! Just no! Awful experience. Please don't use them if you have expensive stuff and do really care about their service quality. Here is my story: I was scheduled for 3 moving crews for unloading at Bellevue area. I have contacted our loading assistant company talking to Rose and Caroline on onloading day and two times prior to my move, continuously asking them to please make sure that there are three crews available. On moving day only two people showed up. I called them right away, and they said they will look into this (Rose). I mentioned my stuff are heavy and hard to be picked up. I do need three people. 20 mins after I called again since I haven't heard back from them. They told me to be patient as they are looking into this. At that exact moment as soon as they start unloading my first item, dining table, it cracked and the legs broke. They tried to rotate it in order to have it over their dully. I have attached pictures. I was only told the only option I have is to wait and see if three moving staff will be available tomorrow. I am not able to do that since my husband and I took today off work and we couldn't leave the trailer over night in our loading area. Very irresponsible moving staff. I talked to Serene who is "titled" as manager. They are claiming that the table was already damaged! Of course.... I have attached before and after images. How can a table be damaged and be able to hold a +50Lbs chair on top of it? My dining table worth $1200 ! Don't go to them... I wish somebody would have told me.... Answer to Laurene: First of all the way you responded to this review, tell everything about your behavior and customer service. It is not your call to define if I need two movers or three. It is my judgment to pick how many. I would really appreciate it that you could only focus on your side of the business. When did I say the table was 4K? Did I mention it here? I did send the table description myself to the claim department. What are you talking about? You weren't even there to make a call to see if the table was damaged or not. Nobody called me for having third person onsite. I called the company three times and I was told we do not have anyone else. How could you really claim something which is not accurate? omg.... Yes, I tipped the driver. You know why? Cause they helped us assemble the bed. Which wasn't part of their job. I apologize if we were generous and appreciated the service done that wasn't added originally.

I will start by saying I used this company once before many years ago and did not have any problems. However, I used them again in May of this year and they did not live up to my expectations. I expected 1) a fair price, 2) all of the things I pointed out in the walk through to be moved, 3) for my things to be taken care of, and 4) for them to make right anything that went wrong. In my opinion, they met 1/2 of the 4 of my expectations. None of my things that were actually transported were damaged. That is the one good thing I have to say. Expectation #1 of a fair price was not met. I do not know how much my stuff weighs, but they charge by the pound. So I assumed, because they are the experts at this, that their estimate if fairly accurate. They estimated my things to be 8600 lbs and made me sign for a minimum of 8000lbs. I agreed because i had no idea and trusted that they would be in the ballpark. After the weigh in, my things only weighed 5000lbs. They were 3600lbs off. And they stuck to the minimum and would not grant my request to get closer to the weight that they actually moved (not meeting expectation #4). That, in and of itself, was frustrating. But, to make matters worse, when I did the walk through with Ryan I showed him all of the clothes in the closet and told him I would want to rent 7 wardrobe boxes. This takes me to expectation #2. The movers showed up with no wardrobe boxes and therefore didn't transport any of my clothes. So not only did they charge me for 3000lbs that they didn't move, but I had to move my own clothes - for a family of 4. That was not ok. Finally, for expectation #3, and it's minor, they put a dent in my wall when moving furniture up the stairs. Fair enough, things happen. But they didn't tell me about it. I found it about an hour after the movers had left. I didn't bother to say anything to the company because it was an easy enough fix and I was already frustrated with them holding me to a minimum. I felt they grossly overestimated the weight of my things in order to get more money from the move. Needless to say, I will not be using this company again and have told 2 of my friends that asked me about them (because they are moving too) to find another company.

Rose, who answered the phone when I called, was a rockstar and a guardian angel!!! I hired a moving company to load my trailer in Kent for my move to Alaska and they did not condense my trailer, accruing me an additional $4000 in moving charges. I was already in Alaska physically. I frantically searched moving company in Kent to find someone to go fix my trailer, and Rose took immediate action and walked me through it!!!!! She had a quote for me within an hour and was able to have their crew out there in two days!!! Rose and her manager got me through it, and even took photos of the trailer when their crew was finished. They wrapped fragile items in blankets and paper. When I unloaded my trailer in Anchorage, I was blown away at the service!! Please consider A2B with your next local or "loading a trailer" move. You are going to get white glove service!! Thanks again Rose!!!

Just completed a move from Oregon to Washington. We used A2B Moving labor to unload a 16' POD and a 15' Uhaul truck. (Yes I waaay underestimated how much I had!). I have never had such a positive experience with a moving company. They were exceptional. The schedulers Rose in particular and also Cheyene were efficient and very pleasant to work with. Rose's sense of humor made things less stressful. The 2 moving labor teams for each truck were polite, professional, considerate and just nice guys. Thanks to Juvie and Gustavo for the great service and extra storage unit stop. Fast and friendly! Today Tim and Henry were AWESOME. Fast, efficient and kind! They struggled with a huge tempered glass table top we had crated but got it in the house safely. They also took our old washer and dryer for a needy family because donation places are shut down due to virus. Great guys. I strongly recommend A2B Moving and Storage, a family owned business with high standards and great service!
