Established in 2019. Ian has been helping friends and family move for several years and has became really good on keeping loads packed to ensure limited shifting. Kind of like furniture Tetris! In 2018 Ian and I (his wife) decided to get the licenses, insurance and permits so we could help others with moving tasks. A1 didn’t want to be strictly household goods movers so we also haul various other items, yard debris and junk removal. No job too small for A1 Movers and Haulers. I called to ask a few questions after reading their reviews and decided to schedule them to unload my ubox that was being delivered from Scottsdale Arizona on Saturday the 26th. I was a bit worried as it was 105 degrees outside. They texted me shortly after 1:00pm as they had finished a earlier job, that they would be arriving in 10 minutes. They were professional, moved quickly and placed the boxes exactly where I had asked. The mattress and box spring was placed in a spare bedroom in the perfect location. I was really in a jam. COVID-19, states on fire, SMOKE, and a cross country move with two vehicles, dog, cat, wife, 28' trailer full of stuff and me was difficult enough. When we arrived, we had to stay at a hotel for 5 nights due to the smoke. When our new place was ready to move inside, all other movers were already booked or not taking on any new jobs due to health concerns (smoke). These guys saved my life when they called and said they had a few hours at the end of the day. Long story short, 3 guys moved all my stuff up two flights of stairs in really smokey conditions.
