These guys are really great, I had an emergency come up last minute, about 24hrs before my move and rescheduled for a few days later without charging me a fee. Then the day of the move, Frederick, Eugene and D showed up on time, did a quick walk through of my unit (2 bedroom and 2 sets of stairs, though we probably have enough furniture and things to fill 3 bedrooms) and got to work quick. They had everything packed up in just about 3 hours on the dot, everything was transported without damage, and had everything unpacked in another 3 hours, didn’t even stop for lunch. We had a solid 10-15 boxes of just books, I felt bad but they hauled everything great. They also wrapped the wheels on their dollys with plastic so I appreciated it. Before my move I asked around a few moving companies for quotes, 24/7 was actually a little more expensive than most but they also sent 3 guys to move my home instead of 2 (most quoted 2 people to move my stuff) and nothing was damaged and they worked at light speed. I would 1000% use them again and if possible ask for the same 3 by name.”

OMG!!! These people are literally sanity savers!!! I had a super stressful international move to do in 15 days. I was at the end of my rope....and then the storage place gate broke on moving day and I was locked out on moving day. Management worked with me- stored things overnight at no charge and offered me a discount for the movers the second day. But the best part is --RANDY & TYRESE!!! I was stressed my things wouldn't fit..or I could not access what I needed when I was back in town. They literally said "relax mam, we are professionals!" That is what I needed to hear- and they were right! They got all my stuff in with room to spare and the origination to let me access stuff was beautiful. I even organized it so I had a chair to sit on! They took the initiative of making even my xmas decorations accessible when I said it was not important to me - because they knew xmas was coming up. 🙂 This was the most stressful two weeks of my life. My review will focus on their character, the quality of the service and how they conduct business. I have used this company 4 times in the last few years. Two decent sized commercial moves for my businesses and two residential moves for my homes which were not easy moves and involved fragile items, awkward stairs, elevators, you name it. Most importantly, Alex the owner is easy to deal with and genuinely honest. Whatever estimates he has given me have all been accurate and he has been true to his word in every interaction we've had. The movers themselves are courteous, professional and take their time to wrap each item they think needs extra protection. They assemble and disassemble furniture quickly and have never lost a screw or a bolt and have never damaged or broken a single thing. The reason I decided to come and write a review today is that I had a situation where I had booked a different moving company to take a load of stuff--first to their storage for 10 days and then to deliver it to me about 3 hours away. I only booked this other company because I was mistakenly under the belief that 24/7 Moving only did local San Diego county moves. Ignore Yelp's service area map for this company. I should have called Alex to confirm but I didn't. My bad and I paid the price. I was having real problems with the other moving company as they had grossly overcharged me and had packed in all kinds of random fees after they came to pick up the load. The actual price was close to double the estimate. This other company was slow on purpose to run up the clock and they were disingenuous about correcting the fees for the second half of the move and I just felt wronged. I looked on 24/7's site only to realize I could have hired them the whole time for this move. I immediately called Alex in distress over the fact that this other moving company had our stuff in their warehouse storage and were being shady about the fees for the second half of the delivery out to the desert. Alex agreed to go fetch my items from their storage warehouse and get them out to the desert the NEXT DAY and at the price I would expect. It ended up that this other company had already loaded our stuff on to their truck to leave the next morning and they were threatening more fees to unload it from the truck to give it to 24/7 Moving and trying every maneuver, yada yada yada. I threw in the towel when they agreed to come down on the price, even though I truly wanted my stuff in the care of 24/7 instead. But the cake was baked, so to speak. Alex was gracious about the whole thing and refunded our deposit. It probably goes without saying but since this is a review I'll go ahead: I will never use any other moving company besides these guys. Thanks for the great service Alex and Co.”

These guys had moved and stored several pieces of furniture and some paintings. they didn't bother covering most of the items. several pieces of the furniture and paintings were destroyed. Obviously they did not care at all about the quality of their work or about anyone's personal belongings. I could not believe anyone would do such a poor job moving and storing items with such a complete lack of respect for the items. I have to file an insurance claim against several of the more expensive pieces that were damaged.”
