My friend said the same thing happened to her so she reached out to the only mover who picked up the job. He told her that happens sometimes but not to fear because he has his own moving company and would help us, BOTH! They even get the UHAUL for you! The only thing you have to focus on is packing your things. It really helped a lot. They were on time, quick, polite, personable and all of the above. We hired a national company to unload us two months in advance. My husband is disabled. The company sent two young men without any dollies. When they opened the back of our 26' U-Haul, they were overwhelmed. They called for more men and some equipment, but were told they had to do the job without extra help. To make a very unfortunate story short, they were pulled of the job. Our daughter, who has used them in the past, called 2 Men Labor. She explained our situation and they were out within the hour. MARCUS and MOSES were AWESOME!!! The truck didn't intimidate them at all - everything was in our new home in two hours! May the Holy One bless them with long, healthy, and happy lives!”

I scheduled with 2 Men Labor approximately 1 month in advance after pricing several local moving companies. The day before my move, the owner, Moses, called to confirm the move for the next day. He also asked if I could move my move earlier in the morning by an hour & a half. I agreed to the earlier time. My move was schedule on July 12th at 8:00am. The morning of the move, I received a text at 7:22am from Moses saying "hey nay we h as be the move pushed back to 930 something came up". I said "Ok. I'll see y'all then." At 7:24am Moses texted "I'm sorry my car battery acting up but I'll be able to get it situated". I replied "Thanks for letting me know!" At 9:30am (the time of my move), Moses texted "On the way be there in 11 min". I replied "Ok! You'll see all the no parking signs for y'all (I paid for a parking permit as the requested) Text me when y'all get here and I'll meet you at the main door on Aiken." At 10:07am, I texted "Checking in to see where you're at." At 10:19am, I texted "Just called and got your voicemail. Checking to see where you're at." At 1:35pm, I texted "Still haven't heard from you and left a voicemail. Please let me know an update." They NEVER showed up or returned calls/texts. The next day (Monday), I texted "Hi Moses, I hope you are okay given I didn't hear from you after 9:30 yesterday and you didn't show for my move. If I don't hear from you in the next 24 hours, I plan to post a very detailed Google review of my experience." I never heard from him. On Tuesday (2 days later), I called Moses from a new number and he answered. It took him a minute to realize who I was. I asked what happened on Sunday and why he didn't show up. He said the guy helping him with the move was robbed in my neighborhood that morning which is why they didn't show because he wasn't comfortable. I stated the significant inconvenience he caused me by having to scramble to find new movers. He said I clearly didn't care and hung up. I realized after the phone call that I should have asked why he didn't call me back or answer any of my texts. Incredibly fishy. I was left scrambling and finding new movers. I also had the power turned off at my apartment the next day (because I thought I would be moved out) so I could not stay there. Instead, I stayed at my new house and slept on an air mattress and sat in a camp chair until my new movers came 2 weeks later. I cannot stress enough to not use these movers!”

Let me preface this by saying my outdoor stairs are narrow, my indoor stairs leading to my apartment are narrow, and on top of that, there are walls blocking any way of getting a full sized couch into this apartment. I’ve had other companies attempt to get a full sized couch inside; they were not successful. This wasn’t an easy task and I knew there very well may be a chance that they would not be able to successfully fulfill this oversize item move request. Nonetheless, they were determined to get the couch in through a very narrow entrance and did so without leaving marks, dents or any damage to my walls and doors. Mosas was very responsive and professional while arranging this move. They arrived at the exact time we had agreed on to pick up my new couch and it was delivered in record time and in excellent condition. Not to mention this was by far the most affordable moving company I’ve ever come across! I’m very pleased with this company and these gentlemen! Could not recommend them enough!”
