Very disappointed that this company was not able to perform the work they agreed to do. Movers/workers were great overall both in terms of work and personality, but it seems that management is under-performing and not adequately listening to the requests of the customers when it involves the items to be moved. The workers showed up 30 minutes late, left for ~2 hours, then returned with an additional worker and attempted to charge me more for this additional worker despite no prior timely communication (was given only ~30 minutes notice, and they noted the 3rd worker was already on their way). The workers then had to leave early due to the 3rd/additional workers prior obligations, culminating the day before all items could be moved. The delays resulted in the workers not being able to perform the work they agreed to do, despite providing a concise list of all items to be moved from an already mostly-cleared house/apartment (they only were tasked to move items that remained were bulky and difficult to move). This directly resulted in our needing to rent a UHaul for another day, find more moving help, and delay several plans related to our moving into our new place. Upon following up with these issues and trying to negotiate on a fair price for the services performed, I researched the average cost of movers in our area and provided a price I believed was fair given the inconveniences they caused and the additional costs of the extra UHaul rental. I expected to negotiate on a final offer, however they declined the offer, provided their own, and threatened to take this issue to court if not paid within 3 days. I would highly discourage anyone hiring this company for their services.”
